A special show, continuing throughout this week and next. This year, 16 Dec. is Beethoven’s 255 BD, and we will celebrate his BD with presentation of: Beethoven, His spiritual Development, which is close to 11 hours and has 23 chapters. The book was written by J.W.N. Sullivan in 1927 and read by Dudley Knight interspersed with Beethoven’s music. This program was produced by the late Roy Tuckman, aka Roy of Hollywood, who worked at kpfk for 52 years. A talk by Ram Dass on the topic of “Here and Now: battle between mind and heart”, ep. 32. His real name was Dr. Richard Alpert and was a professor of Psychology at Harvard university. He worked with Dr. Timothy Leary conducting research on psychedelic, the turning point is his life was when he traveled to India.
